Out of the house, he is likely far more relaxed, of all the other housemates in the house,he is certainly not imagining that Dexter is at every opportunity now trying to belittle him or wind him up, he is totally right as to that.
He is bound to be a little paranoid in there and he likely has developed a lot of anger towards Dexter in the main and is smouldering but doing pretty well to keep it under wraps in the main.
If he is not able to feel able to really be himself then he will come across 'odd' at times but that doesn't mean all he is feeling is wrong or even what he is saying.
I like Dexter's tales but for the most part they are near all likely stories or lies,he though has perfected the art of doing that whereas Callum more than likely hasn't.
Maybe he is acting in part and he is a little more than uncomfortable with doing that but I still just think he gets misunderstood,that's all.

He does look uncomfortable sometimes Joey,but he must feel quite confused as to what Dexter is saying about him all the time,I thought Dexter completely out of order mocking Callums cooking,but you can bet he ate it,I just don't like that furtive little grin Dexter poses whenever he THINKS he has said something to put Callum down,but it seems it may work against Dexter if he carries on.
