It's like when you talk to people who are casual-ish fans of BB about old series and they go 'oh yeah was that the one with Makosi in it?'...because she was the best housemate of BB6 obviously, or 'oh yeah, the one with Nikki?'...it's always the biggest characters that are remembered because um, shock horror...they MADE the series. Barely anyone ever remembers the winner and the question that always comes up in these conversations are 'who won that year again?', because it was usually an undeserving dullard.

Gina and Dexter defined BB14 and will be remembered, Sam was a tedious bore with perhaps two minutes to offer over 10 weeks. Fact.

I have different sorts of HM's i like.

It's not like i'm stuck on one type. (Science is my all time favourite HM for example, closely followed by Coolio)

Sam may not have been the most entertaining...clearly he wasn't, but i just didn't want folk like Dex or Gina to win the money.

Plus Sam is a lovely guy, and that drew me in too, and i also liked his friendship with Callum.

Sam ISN'T a lovely guy and how on Earth can you think he is after only seeing about an entire hour of footage of him in all of his time in the house ?

The only thing we've heard from someone who knows him in Llanelli is that he was banned from his local for abusing people and hitting someone with a pool cue! Lovely guy!

Are you actually kidding me? You supported the likes of greats like Science and Coolio as well as Speidi and Deana and you have now sunk to the dire depths of SAM?! SAM?! What has happened to you?

It isn't about the money either, Big Brother isn't a charity...who cares about the money? They'd have given it to charity anyway, so...a dullard just doesn't deserve to win. If you want 'nice' people to win then you should've backed Charlie who was actually a part of the series ffs, Sam was categorically the worst housemate of the series and I'm afraid that is indisputable

And as boring as Sam may have been, he was inoffensive at worst, which is something that like, two thirds of the house couldn't even be. If we really want to be indisputable it would have to be Daley, but I'm sure in your mind a potential rape scenario was a great talking point

Don't even ****ing dare assume that I'd defend Daley's actions, seriously I know you love baiting but I draw the line there. Give it a rest. I don't even consider him a housemate because he was a pathetic waste of space that needs a speedy trip to The Priory. I forgot all about him, thankfully.

I think a lot of people also liked Sam because they were sick of being TOLD what's entertaining. It was mostly forum members putting me off certain housemates this year rather than the housemates themselves tbh.

Mhm, even though I'm not a Sam fan part of my reason for wanting him to win over Dexter would be to see the hilarious meltdowns on here, the posts about how he's "the true winner," how if you vote for Sam to win you're not a fan of the show ("objectively speaking" aka a few conceited posters thinking that their opinions are always the correct ones because they back them up by saying that they just want the best for the show, as if Sam winning will ruin anything), how if Sam wins then BB15 will be ruined and full of bores and fence sitters (even though these are the same people who criticize Rachel Rice for being a boring fence sitter (which isn't even true) but love BB10 even though it was just a demonic parody of BB6), etc.
