They just like to have the """""credibility""""" of "breaking new acts" all the time. There's no support for longevity in this country anymore. We haven't produced any legends in decades because radio doesn't give anyone the chance. I mean some of the UK's most successful bands don't get played on Radio 1 which I think is shocking; and the way solo artists and groups maybe get two albums' worth of singles promoted intensely and are then cast aside is appalling. Makes me so mad, and not just because of this, but because they do it all the time; and then they try and downplay their influence so that they can continue to have their own agenda.
