Like we do in our thousands anyway via all the usual channels of general public feedback?

If all you want to do is show them some videos of random punters off the street going "I nominated you because I think you're shit" then you can do that anyway within the context of a full vote that ... you know ... makes them money.

Isn't the type of public backlash your insisting the housemates undergo exactly what happens when they hit the real world and start getting booed, read the web, and come on to Bit On The Side to have the camper portion of Britian's unemployed yell at them?

No it won't.

Being nominated by random people will not cause drama between the housemates if none of them have voted for each other.

The whole point of Big Brother are the housemates voting each other out, I hate it when they bring outside influences in to change the nominations. Let the housemates themselves nominate.
