My parents nearly split up when I was younger and only stayed together because we begged them to, I don't really remember how old I was, maybe 10 years old... there was a lot of crying and my mum told us why because we asked... and I really wish I didn't know that bit of information, it makes me question a lot of things. They were on the verge of splitting up again really recently but things have started to get better... and I know the reasons behind that too - I can handle it a lot better now, aged 22, but I still don't think I should really have been dragged into it... so I think it's better to keep it between you and your ex-spouse, as you would with any other intimate aspect of your relationship.
