Re work - for admin type jobs register with agencies. Make sure your CV looks good and is concise. A lot of interviews now are competency based so you need to make sure you are prepared for those types of questions. As its coming up to Christmas I would imagine there will be loads of temporary retail positions around, print off loads of CVs and get round the shops handing them in. You can always register with more specialised agencies for journalism and maybe write to some firms asking about internships and offer a free work trial etc etc.....I work in recruitment so if you need any tips on interview techniques I can PM you some info if you need any?
