The reason for the thread is kinda because of a fantasy story like that, earlier in the year I read a book about these gods who could read the minds of all the people in the world, except for in one particular place, and that was where a heathen witch and wizard hid out.

It was the 2nd one in the series, The Last of the Wilds, that she brought up the concept.

well there is a pretty big romance storyline in it, but there's so much more too, and most of the focus in on the wonderful land and characters the author created.
