Exactly! That's the kind of people I perceived this thread to be talking about. They're so "nice" that you can't say anything to the contrary because it's akin to calling a baby ugly or something.

I think nice people, and those that refuse to express an opinion are different subsets. Probably more of a Venn diagram relationship between nice and malleable. Definite crossover, but not a defining characteristic.

I think you're right, but those people are always called nice by default because there's nothing else to say about them - hence the confusion in this thread, even. I'd never thought about it like that before, that's a good way of explaining those kinds of people.
