Probably remember it better than the recent ones. Strange thing about memory.

Anyway, after Leeds and Arsenal, they won it nearly every year with a handful of exceptions, like Villa, Forest, Everton, and then Leeds won it again, then the man U era took off.

If Liverpool keep the form going it's going to be great at opening up a whole new fickle, embittered universe of football discussion. A whole new arena of Premier League discussion is threatening to go from "wow this is looking good, but let's wait and see" to the potential reality of a Brave New World.

Already we are seeing the crčme de la crčme of United and company's most verbose, fucked off supporters tripping over themselves to explain things away with their small, tiny penises, glass eyed manager and weird season that sees their league table looking like a helter skelter with less smiling children and more grown men sobbing uncontrollably.

'But' is going to become the buzzword and Manchester will once again rightly fall back on it's music as it's finest export to the world. In the words of New Order "how does it feel".
