..they will keep him in a coma until the swelling has gone down, which may take a while because of the surgery..just to relieve the trauma to the brain and then see what the damage is..and then I guess it'll be whether he can awake from the coma...that'll be his real fight but he is fighting, Eoin.....and we all know what a determined guy he is ...

When it's an induced coma, it's not a case of not being able to wake from it. They reduce the dosage of barbiturates gradually and wake you from it.. He will definitely wake from it.. but they won't reduce the dosage until he's stabilised..
