The thing for me is, irrespective of why Jim and Linda hate each other - Linda provides absolutely nothing else in the house worth talking about other than her beef with Jim which she refuses to openly discuss but has instead skirted around for the last two weeks, saying that he's this, that and the next thing without ever talking about why she feels that way about him. Jim's been involved in arguments with Luisa and is playing the role of grumpy, irritable housemate in there. If Jim went, Linda would be rendered useless in there - what would be the point in her as a housemate? What would she spend her time doing? If Linda went, Jim would still be grumpy and irritable and would still argue with Luisa. That's why I'd rather Linda went before Jim.
