If anyone's interested, and wants to catch what I, the mighty (er) dustmite sounds like, tune into Efourum on e4 at 7pm... I should appear as a phone caller (Mark from Shrewsbury) in the first half... ok, back to panicking now.

I don't get E4, so didn't manage to see this - but good on you for getting on there. For anyone else, as well as me, who missed it, what was it like and what did you say?

Well, I'll give the semi-whole story, as I'm not sure whether I can say what may happen next... sooo, here goes:

I sent an e-mail to EFOURUM on the Sunday Evening/Monday Morning during the first week in the house, I received a reply from Jo Larmer on May 31st about my comments, that were mainly towards Kitten being extremely irritating. Over the following weeks her and I had a dialogue about me doing something on EFOURUM, including being on the panel, and yesterday she asked whether I would like to comment on things on the phone.

Early this morning she telephoned me again, briefing me on what I can and can not say, mainly to say that it's a live show with no delay, and as such I mustn't swear, be aware that it's before the watershed, that I mustn't mention brand names, and that I must not mention anything that may be unfounded or unsubstantiated about the housemates.

Then, at 7pm, Don (I think) telephoned me asked if I was ready, and then asked me to hold. Whilst I was on hold, I heard the audio feed from the studio, and waited for my cue. I did miss my cue by about 4/5 seconds, and the dialogue of the call went as follows:

Quote:
Russell Brand: Mark, well Mark's on the phone, what do you want from the show? What are you saying, mate?

Me: Well, I think that the majority of the housemates aren't really going made, and most of them are putting it on, but the others, like Emma and Marco are just being completely childish as that's really what they are.

Russell Brand: Mmmmm

Me: But, Ahmed, I think that Ahmed's really losing his complete grip on reality...

*laughter from the audience*

Russell Brand: I see

Me: I mean, we've had it twice now that he's lost his temper now in a way, like we have seen with the arguments that he's had with Marco and Emma..

Russell Brand: Yeh

Me: But with his plate throwing episode he really did lose his complete cool there.

Russell Brand: He upped the ante with that plate smashing didn't he? That was a bizarre way to express yourself, I would have to concur with that Mark...

Me: What I think will be particularly interesting though is how he will cope with tonight, since he won't be going home whatever happens...

Russell Brand: Yeh, exactly.

Me: But I think he's either going to complete lose it or walk... but if he does completely lose it I have this mental image of him rocking in the corner whilst chanting 'redrum', in the best shining method that he's got.

*laughter and some clapping from the audience*

Russell Brand: I really hope not Mark, because that would be insighting people to murder, I would prefer if they just got a bit saucy, like Michelle has been since getting the nominations, she's been upping the game by being a little bit more.. bit more of a harlet... let's be honest, let's have a look at her behaviour...

*cut to VT of Michelle's behaviour*.
Don then returned to the phone and thanked me for taking part.
