I don't know about Harry and Hermione but I remember thinking Harry and Ginny just didn't ring true in the slightest.
If anything that pairing felt more like she'd stuck to what she'd planned to do ages ago regardless of it not really working. But then my opinion might be based on the complete lack of chemistry or personality in movie Ginny.
