Another kind of attention seeker is one that just goes on and on about the same things all the time. Trying to get your attention about something. But it just becomes pathetic so you end up ignoring it. Quite sad really. They have to talk about the same things as there is nothing else in their life.

Attention seekers can also be labelled to neighbours.

If a nosy neighbour called Karen, is listening in on her neighbours, Daniella & Theodore

She can hear a conversation next door where Daniella & Theodore are and hear something which appeals to her and suddenly, she butts in, even when it is very obvious that she is not wanted.

As the neighbours Daniella & Theodore are tactful and friendly, they will put up with Karen and try to carry on the conversation anyway. Karen will butt in, but suddenly, the conversation goes onto a subject which annoys Karen.

But Karen is an attention seeker, as she is very shallow, even though she has made plenty of friends. Well, not friends really? But she calls them friends and stirs stuff too.

Anyway, Karen keeps trying to change the new subject that Daniella & Theodore have started, but every time, Karen can't change it.

But Karen still seeks attention and starts to critisise the conversation, as it makes her feel better and also makes herself feel good. But Daniella & Theodore keep on anyway.

Eventually Karen goes away and talks to her friends, well, the one's she thinks her friends? As they just agree with her anyway.

After this, Daniella & Theodore are glad that this attention seeking neighbour who they can't stand has gone away.

The most important observation that Daniella & Theodore realise, is, if Karen didn't like the subject what they were talking about, all she had to do is go away and accept it.

But as Karen was an Attention Seeker, she couldn't manage that simple lesson.

Life is hard sometimes, for the attention seekers.

But Daniella & Theodore knew how to treat her and won!

At least, for now!!
