Gina would've been nothing if Dexter hadn't befriended her and leading to her becoming more popular outside. She'd have been evicted otherwise as she was an outsider to the group and not very well liked. Whereas Hazel got on with a lot of the housemates.

But overall, that's a crap point. The housemates must interact and create stories/events with each other. None of them would be entertaining without the others to bounce off.

Yes..... the week she started to attract more fans to keep her in the house. From then on their double act was what supported her and eventually tied her to Charlie.

She would've been out on her ear without the sudden pairing of them both. As would Dexter to some degree. Their week in the secret house saved them not just that week but for the series.

They were voted in there because it was either those two or Dan and Wolfy. Not very strong competition in terms of isolating them from the house.
