The facts are there to see. Liverpool has matched or at least been around our region of spending during the Sir Alex years despite you winning close to **** all and United dominating the league. It's just the vast number of players Liverpool did sign came to nothing and were sold on.

When we were the dominant force, it was united who were generally spending more money. It's easier to pick off the players you need from a position of strength, and especially with one manager.

When you have to replace 4/5 players each season trying to get back to the top, then it's a lot harder. You end up chasing your tails. United have cut back over the last few years, but I only ever remember you constantly outspending us. Maybe that's just perspective.

Either way, looking at the prices of the players in your team, I don't think it's fair to claim you've been underfunded.

I see where you are coming from and It's a fair point, but I'm not saying we have been underfunded. Just that in comparison to our revenues and success we have. I mean this is a club that makes record sorting revenues after all..

I also agree about the way the Glazers have stolen your cash. As someone supporting a team with loads less money and H&G, I genuinely understand that frustration. Have to be honest though - I dread the day the Glazers leave!
