Although I do also feel that maybe politics needs a stronger force as to the left.

Labour now is rightly more to the centre and in elections generally that also seems to be where the Conservatives want to be as well, however in Govt as with this one, they march double quick to the right.

This leaves a great number of the country and electorate with no real representasion of their desires and hopes.
The Lib Dems were the most left of all the main parties in the 2010 election and did a complete turnaround.

With Labour having no desire to move to what are seen as far left policies, that does leave a vacuum in politics with everyone else trying to hover round the centre.

For instance, a policy certainly seen as a far left one would be nationalisation of energy again, I hear from a fair number of people, who like myself am not in favour of the State running companies, saying that energy should be taken back to State control.

It is a policy I could well easily support myself now but there is really no party that even looks like even thinking about going down that road.
So while I don't agree with the statements of Len McCluskey and generally don't agree with much he says anyway, I can see where he is coming from as to his frustrations.

So much however for Ed Miliband being in his debt and pocket, since his gripes are in fact with Labour and Ed Miliband as to their policies because he is not getting in effect, anything he wanted.
