"Gay" is not a bad word, there is nothing even slightly offensive about it. Straight people don't want to be called gay because they are not gay, not because they have been called an offensive word. would it be offensive to call something straight? Your argument is invalid, Justin Bieber knew what he was doing, he just didn't expect the public to find out about it because he is an idiot.

I didnt say the word gay was bad, but the context people use in it sometimes is not very nice
Like saying "awk dont be gay" when they dont so something you want them too.
This assumes being gay is bad, but people say it all the time with no true meaning.
The word straight doesn't get used out of context

You clearly just hate justin bieber, he said that when like 12 everyone makes mistakes.

I agree one racist joke does not make you a racist, but this young man really should know better than to indulge in this especially as he was being filmed at the time.

If he has learned anything from his experience of fame it is how hard it is to achieve and how quickly it can be lost.

To be filmed spouting a racist joke like this bearing in mind his age and his Multicultural fanbasel is just plain stupid.

I'm assuming he is not racist and this was him trying to be brave playing the big man in which case he should know better. If however he does actually hold these views then maybe it's a good thing people can see the real Justin.

Either way this type of publicity can do his career no good.
