I felt sorry for her, she seemed to genuinely feel let down, she flew off the handle but I have to say she had a point... she was lovely to him this week. It's due to some loyalty to matthew no doubt

But kist she had been awful to him up until then....you don't just forget that.
They are not stupid in there...they must know she is on her final warning and know why she is being nice....you can't just pretend to be nice to someone for a week and expect all to be forgiven.
How anyone can feel sorry for her beats me....

It could be that, but his excuse was what upset her as she saw it as an out and out lie that she hadn't 'opened up' as she had, and helen seems to me the sort of person that doesn't do that easily... Which could account for her feeling so personally offended, I think she genuinely saw chris (mas) as someone she could confide in and whom she had invested in emotionally and visa versa.

She isn't stupid she knows how awful she was to him so whatever excuse he used she should have understood the bigger picture, selective memory syndrome.
