..as a person he seems nice but as a housemate he's contributed nothing to the series and for me it would be all kinds of wrong for him to win..I think I would even rather Helen won as she's been the 'bigger housemate'..unless I'm missing something, it seems like maybe people less want him to win than don't want others to but that seems like for all the wrong reasons in the spirit of the 'game'....

Yep. I don't hate the guy, but I just don't care. He's a non-entity and brings only slightly less than Ash and Winston - but at least they've actually done the occasional thing and been there the whole time. I suppose people would vote for him if they hate all the other housemates, but if they hated all of them that strongly I don't know why they're still watching or at least voting.

I only watched last year's recently, but I went in knowing that Sam won and I kept waiting for him to do something and I barely saw him until the final week when he kept arguing with Dexter. It felt really anti-climactic when he won, even if he seemed like a nice enough guy. You'd think people would want a winner who brings the series full circle and rewarding the person who's contributed the most to the series. I can understand arguments for all the finalists except for Ash and Pav, totally dumbfounded as to why people would want them to win the most.

..I agree and also with Ash as he's just 'coasted' his way through and thought that was enough to make him someone who shouldn't be nominated..OH MY GOD, HOW COULD ANYONE THINK I SHOULD DESERVE TO BE UP..??????..but at least he's been there from the beginning and provided a few lesser memorable moments compared to Pav...I like the nicer person to win or who I think is a nicer person, that's just obvious really but not to the point of wanting someone who has been fairly insignificant to the whole show to win over someone I really didn't like but who has been a big part of it because the old cliché....it's just a game/not personal feelings as such and the person contributing more to a game for me would always be more deserving....

Because he's a nice guy. I like him myself. He's not in my top three, but i'm glad he's still there.
