You don't need to have sex reassignment surgery to change your gender, by the way. Your gender is your identity and how you outwardly present and identify yourself to other people and is completely different from your biological sex which not many people see, she may be male biologically but her gender is that of a woman. And besides, she wants to be referred to as 'she' and 'her' and it's really not that difficult is it to be respectful?
