I'm happy Viacom want to renew it because they have connections with VH1 girls and know how to contact/negotiate with them (see: Frenchy), but it's also good to know that other channels have tried to bid for it too, as that means if Ch5 suddenly drop it, others will be interested in keeping it alive.

Yeah but most those shows have a new cast of people who aren't really known. Past bb have deepened in kiss and tell housemates for media attention but if what Sam said is true and they don't care much about attention we may get less.
