They got it so right up until BB9 and then **** it up for BB10 and BB11, they ruined it and the things we see now in BB were started by Channel 4 (crappy and cheesy editing, songs, more Marcus involvement)

Not really. I think the production team grew lazy in BB10, but the show was growing stale overall.

But I thought BB11/UBB was good. Not the best ever but a decent enough series for a show that had long since gone passed its best.

Like the editing wasn't as bad as channel 5 took it in BB12.

BB10 had the worst hype around it ever as well, the crowd for BB15 in a standard eviction was twice the size of BB10's launch night crowd

I don't think the editing in BB10 was that bad, BB11 just randomly changed and I think Channel 5 picked up on it because BB11's ratings picked up, but they seem to not realize that its only because it was billed as the last ever Big Brother. I liked UBB, don't get me wrong, but BB11 was awful and bland besides Corin and Sam.

But re-watching some episodes a few months ago the editing was nowhere near the extent of BB12. That was just Towie on ecstasy.

I've never seen BB12 but I think unless they pulled out BB5-BB7 quality it was always going to look bad, I thought it was original but I was like 'whut where's the cars' when first watching in 2010. I wouldn't mind C5 going back to the cars now tbh, the eye-studio thing is already tired.
