Yeah but most those shows have a new cast of people who aren't really known. Past bb have deepened in kiss and tell housemates for media attention but if what Sam said is true and they don't care much about attention we may get less.

I think Endemol will definitely take advantage of Viacom having loads of money to spend, they clearly know how to run BB because of some series' they have produced and they seemingly get so many formats right (US, Can, Aus) but not ours

I don't C5 would have axed it, with or without Viacom. For them BB is really the only show that constantly gets over a million over the course of 3 months, the only shows that beat it are CBB and the odd one off documentary.

How am I deluded? They ruined their own show and cancelled it because nobody could be arsed in correcting it

They got it so right up until BB9 and then **** it up for BB10 and BB11, they ruined it and the things we see now in BB were started by Channel 4 (crappy and cheesy editing, songs, more Marcus involvement)

Not really. I think the production team grew lazy in BB10, but the show was growing stale overall.

But I thought BB11/UBB was good. Not the best ever but a decent enough series for a show that had long since gone passed its best.

Like the editing wasn't as bad as channel 5 took it in BB12.

BB10 had the worst hype around it ever as well, the crowd for BB15 in a standard eviction was twice the size of BB10's launch night crowd

I don't think the editing in BB10 was that bad, BB11 just randomly changed and I think Channel 5 picked up on it because BB11's ratings picked up, but they seem to not realize that its only because it was billed as the last ever Big Brother. I liked UBB, don't get me wrong, but BB11 was awful and bland besides Corin and Sam.
