I could say there is far too much emphasis being put on Gary's "rudeness" and not enough on the lack of patience of some other housemates who don't seem considerate enough to take others needs into account. They selfishly just focus on themselves.

Considering his struggle to hear and understand accents has led to the majority of his problems/altercations in the house I'd say so it's perfectly valid to include it in conversation.

Agreed.

Gary can be rude at times in ways which I don't think are affected by his impairment. But a lot of the time the housemates cite having to repeat themselves as a reason for disliking him, so yes, emphasis does need to be put on his hearing impairment and the other housemates' lack of tolerance for it.

Yes he does come across as a nice guy. Tolerant, kind and not judgemental. He's putting up with a lot more **** than I would.

You can't just list someone's faults then claim they're a bad person without any consideration of their good points. I'm sure one of your mates could list your faults too but doesn't make you a bad person

Also, I agree with all the points about Gary apart from the first one. "Barge" is such an emotive word which is completely unnecessary - he enters conversations which EVERYBODY else does since BB is a SOCIAL experiment, where they're meant to interact with each other. Why is it "barging" when Gary does it but not when anybody else does?

Also he does appreciate help sometimes and not at others.
