I didn't mean it was a strange reason to not want to eat your food, it is mingin when there a hair in your food and I don't blame her for being put off. I just think she could find ways to eat without having hairs on it like those I listed. No need to starve because of it

Honetly though her being so hygienic she must have exhausted ALL options by now as she seems like a broken woman.

She was so popular on the forums and one of the favs for the 1st week and the hygiene of the house has just got to her.

Gary is obviously the main culprit and she shouldn't be judged in a bad way for feeling upset. From all reports from the house this year its been a very unsanitary place to live.

Lets not forget the front page news of "BB HOUSE INVADED BY GIANT RATS" Which actually turned out to be true lol....Even though Steven Goode said it that's one thing I believe from his sumptuous lips.

There also has to be a lot of germs left over from Danielles skid mark swept granny grippers left over the bedroom aswell :/

Anyway! Look at the state of Stephanie does she look like a girl who cant be bothered to try other things to fit in with her hygiene standards or a girl who is ****ing exhausted and worn out from trying to cope with living in such disgusting conditions??

Yeah maybe she has tried other stuff and is still feeling uncomfortable. She looks sooo exhausted and just done with it. The house does look (and apparently smells) disgusting at times!!

The bit in bold.. are you suggesting that the reasons a lot of people dislike her on the forum (bitchiness, shouting, offensive language, blah blah) are a result of her becoming really upset about the hygiene of the house? Fair enough if that's your opinion, but I dunno if it really justifies the way she's acted towards Gary in particular. From what other housemates have said he does seem a bit dirty and I bet I'd get dead upset about it but she has been really nasty saying she doesn't like him and the way she acted in the face-to-face nom was just unnecessary and embarrassing for him really. It's like, I'd understand more if she got upset about it, but the nastiness is too far imo, and shows more than just being drained about hygiene.

Shes clearly and admittedly says shes a germophobe.

Gary is her worst nightmare and that is the reason she got so nasty due to her irrational fear of germs....I say irrational but living in a house where theres piss on the floor and hair in your food well rational kind of becomes irrational....What do you expect from the girl?

Stephanie isn't a Germaphobe, she may be very hygienic like lots of other people but there is no way in hell she is a real germaphobe, she would have been crouching in the corner of the house in a wreck after a day if she was.

She also wouldn't be allowing anyone else to cook for her, she would have her own separate utensils and dishes and so on.

She was also extremely nasty to Audley and he has no hygiene issues.

I didn't really argue that she didn't have an issue with germs, I just don't think there's a need to be so nasty and spiteful because of it. You said "Gary is her worst nightmare (referring to him being unhygienic) and that is the reason she got so nasty". However, she's been nasty to him multiple times about things unrelated to her germophobia. Even if she WAS going to be nasty towards Gary about his lack of hygiene, then why be so nasty when he came back into the room with James the other night? Nothing to do with hygiene. Why refer to him as an animal when he's not even in the room? Why bitch about him behind his back about showering rather than speaking to him about it to resolve the issue like James did? No need to be so bitter. She's been bitchy to/about other housemates too, telling James to nominate people (Kellie and Audley was it?).

And like Josy said, I feel like Stephanie is more of a "casual germophobe" from what we've seen it doesn't seem like she has a genuine clinical phobia of germs, she probably would have left by now. Serious cases of germophobia can be extremely debilitating like OCD as far as I'm aware, though I'm not here to diagnose Stephanie as having/not having a phobia so I'll stop there
