Bridge over troubled water is a folk/rock song, so i can see why he was given it tbh, it gave him room to play with his voice and sing the song the way he wanted to.. but it's only been a week, hopefully with 80's week he'll be given a rock ballad for him to really sink his teeth into.

I think he would suit some U2 songs.
