'Dynasty star Linda Evans is set to enter the Celebrity Big Brother 2015 house next month after a huge pay deal.
The US actress is said to be getting £500,000 for a stint on the Channel 5 series.
It makes Linda – best known for her role as Krystle Carrington in tn the 80s American Show – one of the highest paid celebs ever, if not THE highest ever paid celebrity housemate.
The Daily Mirror reports that show bosses are hoping that the TV star will be “dynamite”
A source told the tabloid today: “The producers are blowing a lot of their casting budget to secure Linda.
“They know she’ll be dynamite.”
The supposed insider added: “She will also bring in older viewers who were fans of Dynasty.”
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother UK begins January 7 on Channel 5.
Other celebs (of sorts) who have been linked to the latest CBB line up include TV host Keith Chegwin, East 17 singer Brian Harvey, soap star Patsy Kensit, model Calum Best and media loudmouth Katie Hopkins.
Also tipped to become housemates are cosmetic surgery addict Alicia Douvall and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
Of course no names are ever confirmed until they step foot inside the house on launch night.
