I agree, i do not think he has been half as bad as many suggest. I think the reason for the extensive hate is repetition, repetition from Hopkins which has in-turn convinced everyone else that he is as despicable as she makes out.
Yes, he is a bit of a loon (which is good tv) but imo he is no where near as bad as many believe that he is. There are certain individuals in the house who have been significantly worse.
