Yes but some of the hysteria... is really quite over the top, surely? Also worth pointing out - not sure why it hasn't been yet, unless I missed it - immigration is not "up 300,000" at all. It's gone up
to (nearly) 300,000. It was, obviously, not previously zero. At the end of 2013, it's quite clear from the graph that immigration was at over 200,000. Immigration is actually up by around 90,000. The thread title and OP are a bit misleading, no?
