I know we need long servers but EE was in a rut where everything was revolving around Max, Phil, Kat, Alfie and people we were bored of. They needed a new family like the Carter's because all the others had grown stale and were all related.

i no he is still in it but you must be able to see the drop in focus in him.

He's never had a major part. He's always been a supporting character with no big storyline of his own.
