Quite looking forward to this!
Just seen an article on Tellymix Big Brother 2015’s Timebomb series will see a Vote to SAVE format, it’s been revealed. When the show first moved to Channel 5 back in 2011, the series ditched its iconic system of voting to get rid of housemates, instead encouraging fans to vote for their favourite. http://www.tellymix.co.uk/reality-tv...ve-format.html Last edited by Will.; 03-05-2015 at 07:55 PM. |

If it's confirmed then fair play to them for reverting it back, both systems have their flaws though

Not believing it until the show starts. Telly Mix could be basing it off what the website says. Which the same happened last year, it said vote to save then was changed to evict when it came to the series starting.

People shouldn't get fixated on singular events when discussing the different voting systems - both have their flaws but if you look back through the show, there'll be so many results 'ruined' by VTE. That happens because of varying opinions, not because of the voting system. |

So if they get a bunch of unlikeable housemates like last year who is going to want to spend money on saving them?

It hasn't been confirmed.
Therefore, I'll wait till 18th May, when I presume the first eviction lines will open for the Friday 22nd May eviction - that will tell us whether we are voting to evict or voting to save. If true. I'm disappointed, as I prefer VTE for Big Brother, and VTS for Celebrity Big Brother. But, I don't vote, so the money isn't coming out from my pocket. Just hope we don't have bad evictions. I'd like to see a mix of vote to evict/vote to save introduced tbh, like BBAU did in 2006. Here's how it works:
Any viewer may cast as many evict or save votes as they choose. Prior to eviction each housemates' save votes are merged with their evict votes; the housemate with the highest number of evict votes – or lowest number of save votes – remaining after the merge is evicted.

Although I'm starting to wonder if the public should vote at all when they make horrific decisions on both. ![]()
