When the Apprentice revealed that the Sorcerer is Merlin, I actually squealed with excitement. I've wanted the Camelot legends properly introduced for a long time and this makes that really likely. Here for Morgan le Fay being added to the list of flawless sorceresses. I really want her to be the Black Fairy.

Yeah, I'm here for Camelot. I was expecting Yen Sid, I was so shocked when he said that the Sorcerer was Merlin.

I hope that they make the Dark Emma storyline more interesting than her just being all 'I'm dark and eeeeeevil now!'. It'll be more interesting if she toes the line of good and evil as I don't think simply being the Dark One should overwrite a person's personality.

I wonder if the next Series will be completely devoted to the Dark Emma storyline? Or will it be split in two? I could potentially see Merlin become the villain in the second half and his defeat will destroy the books and let everyone get their happy ending. I think that the next season will be the last eitherway.

Yeah, I definitely get the feeling that Season 5 will be the final season,

the direction in which the story is currently headed (Merlin introduced, Dark One Emma, Rumple freed of the darkness, etc) sounds pretty fitting for a final season to be honest. I think the showrunners are expecting to end next season, so are moving into what they intend for the final arc. I hope so anyway, I'd hate for this show to finish without an ending.

I'm looking forward to non-evil Rumple next season. We've only really had a Dark One-less Rumple in the flashbacks so seeing him in present-day Storybrooke as the man he used to be will be really interesting.

One gripe with the finale though:

No Maleficent! I hope we see more of her in Season 5. Zelena, too! They're both still around, which is good.
