Eight months is a disgraceful joke. It should have been 8 years.
The gravity of any crime is compounded if it is willfully committed by a person or persons in authority, because they should be 'whiter than white'.
The Police Force is NO place for immature bullies like this moron and the courts should have made an example of him by way of a long sentence so it acts as a suitable punishment and a real deterrent to others who may have joined the police for their own skewed reasons.
