Not sûre what sexist has to do with it, to be honest I doubt very much if a woman, 46 or any agè would ask someone to do their washing.
Simon asked Harry tô do his waching, she then offered to do all their washing.
I think this was what Jack was getting at Simon for, not putting Helen right about it, just happily sitting there and letting Harry take the flàk.
