Why. If someone keeps on saying it enough to you. Eventually you start to believe it. No one questioned her when she said it continually.

Oh right. I see what you mean. I haven't really seen anything concrete from Danny himself though to make me think he believes he has it in the bag other than he appears to accept that Chloe thinks he has (or says he has which is a different thing)
