it's a basic song, rhythm and melody but it'll probably do well because god knows we love an annual "retro" song rather than actually taking the time to appreciate Motown or soul for what they actually were

Charlie Puth sounds fine on the song, but the whole 60's vibe is not doing it for me, and Meghan Trainor's voice annoys more every time I hear it.

This song has been playing on the radio here in Portugal for a while, I didn't really see anything in it for a while but now it slays me, even my boyfriend sings along with it in the car. I like Meghan's vocals in this way more than in her solo works.
