People like 4th Power as joke acts right? I know that the public that watch this show hate Music, but don't add tone deaf to the list.
![]() Not directed at anybody individually btw.

Are we assuming that just because they are Filipino and don't speak perfect English then they are a joke act? Because they aren't even close to a joke act.

Wagner was awesome tbf, his rendition of Creep was only 2nd to Aiden's if he had've been allowed to sing it.
And no LucasMichael as Ruth Lorenzo was a foreigner in series 5 yet she could sing perfectly fine most weeks, 4th Power so far haven't shown themselves to be able to hold a tune so they'll either need to go down the joke act route, or the boring Olly/Fleur route where they can't sing or perform but can just dance instead. At least they're not diva shouters though as I would be forced to cheer them on then.

4th Power were by far the best performance last night. But the vocals were very messy, they were shouting rather than singing! Since the music industry doesn't need good vocals though I think they could work really well with some toning down on the shouting, some molding and some auto tune. They look like an easily sellable group.
The days are long gone where XF was all about the vocals. The format is far more American now, it's more about being big, loud and over the top. That's why people are getting all wet over 4th Power imo. If they went into XF 2006 they wouldn't get past the auditions. Times have changed. |

4th power weren't great when just singing alone but their harmonies and big notes were amazing, and their energy but the dancing was kinda messy

I do think 4th Power were overrated. Very likeable and great attitudes (and not bad voices tbf), but I thought their vocals were underwhelming compared to the hype.
