Their whole point was that making prejudiced, bigoted comments about religious people as "Jesus freaks" (and basically telling people what is and isn't real) makes somebody no better than the people they're judging for themselves holding allegedly bigoted viewpoints.

Gay people don't want to be generalised, judged and negatively stereotyped, why is it acceptable to do so for religious people?

I personally don't believe that any organised Religion has the real God, but I do believe that there is a higher power that mankind will never truly understand until we die.

However that doesn't make my opinion fact for having that opinion, nor is my opinion disproved of in Science either, it's the same as with organised Religion, Science doesn't prove or disprove Religion 100% so it's weird that Science gets brought into an argument to do with Religion.
