Campus Gifts have some good deals on Yankee Candles - Here

They are selling 10 votives for £10 atm.

Last year I bought 12 votives from ebay and also bought 2 little Christmas boxes and wax burners (these were only £1 from b&m) and then made up 2 little yankee hampers, wrapped in cellowrap with a bow and they turned out lovely.

That's quite handy. I'm doing little hampers this year.

I enjoy doing hampers tbh it's a nice change from standard store bought gifts IMO plus it sometimes works out both cheaper and nicer looking.

It's really easy too Annie and if you buy a yankee candle hamper from a store it's quite expensive when you can do it yourself for a lot less money and have whatever you like in it.

This is some hampers i've done in the past

Pamper Hamper (for my mother in law, sisters and sister in laws) - PJ's, Slippers, Bath Bombs/Shower Gels, Manicure set, Scented Candles, small box of chocs and a bottle of wine.

Car Care Hamper (for my father in law and OH) - Bucket from the pound shop, sponges, chamois, car air fresheners, then bottles of car cleaner, dashboard wipes, wheel cleaner, wax etc

Scottish Hamper (for OH's gran and my next door neighbour) Scottish teabags, shortbread, tunnocks teacakes, miniature whisky, Scottish fudge and tablet.

And then the yankee hampers I posted about above and also 'hug in a mug' which is just a Christmas mug, couple sachets of hot chocolate, mini whisk, marshmallows and some chocolates.

Why do that and pay more money when you can grab some odds and ends in early on offer or at sale prices?

Plus we always have this thread and I enjoy updating it.

Those sound brilliant Josy

I might make a few myself this year. I'm thinking the pamper one for my sisters. The Scottish one sounds amazing and I'm not even Scottish

..I don't have your skill and knack at finding stuff but there is a page of John Lewis offers and things like crackers for £2.50, which are half price..(probably from last year..)...

http://www.johnlewis.com/browse/spec...ffers/_/N-2tzm

..one thing that is good for young children are jar/hampers, which you can use old ones you have or buy them for around £1 and fill them with lots of small things...hair accessories etc for girls and small cars and models etc for boys..with sweets, marbles and just anything small and they're really nice gifts with bow around the top etc and all sparkled up...and for older people..grandmas, aunts and just generally older neighbours etc...jars of homemade things like chutney, which hardly cost anything, it's just the making of and muffins...there are some really nice muffin cases and boxes on Ebay and just great gifts to make.../again hardly any money at all...
