Default EastEnders Halloween special inspired by classic Horror films
“There was Friday the 13th, Halloween, Scream and Nightmare on Elm Street. Most of those are still in there somewhere, but we had to pull it back a little bit.

“I thought as it’s Halloween, we should have a bit of fun.

There’s an homage to the popcorn scene in Scream. I wanted to have Kathy as the star, as the Scream queen! She also watches Night of the Living Dead and we got the rights to use it in the episode.”
