Why haven't Hollywood made this already?! Am I the only one who thinks they could make a billion dollar franchise out of this, or at least one EPIC movie? Personally I'd like to see an Ocarina of Time film, that game was my childhood

I agree with the link that suggested Charles Dance and Dakota Fanning for Ganondorf and Zelda

But for Link I think you'd need a complete unknown. I think for it work you'd have to be able to completely immerse yourself in that character because of all the fantasy elements and not be distracted by a known face/name.

We should go for open casting then to cut costs. Except for Ganondorf, every fantasy movie needs an epic villain to succeed.
