..yeah we could analyse/scrutinise/look for 'intent' etc, in the tweet, we can do that...but if we do that, then there's no point in moaning about a rubbish/negative world that we live in because we're just being a part of that negativity/cynicism...or we can just look at it as a positive and well meaning gesture/nothing more, nothing less....

He is a non-believer and is ill. Therefore he has no one to pray to. So what is so wrong with people of a charitable and caring disposition - who believe in 'Love Thine Enemy' praying ON HIS BEHALF to a God who they believe in and he does not?

Perhaps Dorkins needs a little help if his prayers to Darwin and 'Science' ain't working.

I regularly include L.T. in my prayers.

Going to have to call that out. In my experience that hasn't happened.
Won't divulge on here and risk derailing the thread but I'll explain if you like via PM.
Is cynicism negative, always? I don't feel it is. The best the CofE get from me is the benefit of the doubt.
