I think anyone in Caroles position has no outlet to air her thoughts since losing Jonathan she has been pretty much on her own in there stuck with a bunch of kids really. As the older housemate of course she will come across as the mum but lets be honest being stuck in there with Chanelle would drive most people insane. Carole speaks her mind and is only hated because she has stood up to Chanelles awful behaviour.
