Aww c'mon you cant honestly expect authors to work so hard for sometimes years at a time on a book then sell it for 2 quid, take away the agents fees and other things and they will be making about 30p a book

I have paid 18.99 for hardbacks from my favourite authors but that's just my choice, I prefer getting the hardback because the paperbacks don't tend to be released up until another year from the hardback date, but then those are just my personal preferences.
