Thats good of him
[The Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn will make his only live set-piece television appearance of the EU referendum campaign on Sky News in the final week of the campaign. The leader of the opposition will face questions from a live studio audience made up of a representative selection of young people at an event which I will be chairing. The event will take place on the evening of Monday 20 June, less than three days before the EU referendum polls open.] http://news.sky.com/story/1708923/eu...-news-audience Last edited by arista; 19-06-2016 at 10:05 AM. |

He is a leader of a party now and with that comes far more responsibility to all and not just to his own principles and feelings. Just about all leaders and then PMs have to change their stances on things, nothing wrong on that but he must be clearer. He has to learn as leader, to go with the Party line wholeheartedly despite his own misgivings. He does usually have a more successful way of connecting with young people however, as was demonstrated in his own election as leader. So I hope he really makes the case for remain, this time here tonight, wholeheartedly too. Last edited by joeysteele; 20-06-2016 at 08:36 AM. |

He was actually asked to give a brief run down on his day today, so what else would he be talking about but where he had been for most of it.
Odd that a few, thankfully only a few, of the 'leave' side are uncomfortable with that, one would have expected them to be as horrified at the murder of a democratically elected MP too rather than try to belittle it. Overall for me, he did okay, never the passionate one for the EU and it was refreshing to hear his moans at it too. I felt he answered as ably as he wanted to,I believe him when he says he recognises major economic risks on leaving. Probably most people who will vote remain, like Corbyn, have moans about and dislikes of parts of the EU too,I think that will have gone down fairly well.. However I agree with him 100%, that on TTIP, the UK would be more likely to end up with a TTIP type deal with the USA, out of the EU rather than in it. Since I cannot at all see the member Nations of the EU ever ratifying this deal with the USA. Good enough for me. Last edited by joeysteele; 20-06-2016 at 06:43 PM. |

many may be mistaken in believing that the interests of the working class are being protected by the labour party, for example, the creation of the NHS, in 1948, was based upon such core socialist values but, sadly, these central values are not presant in the current party, blair was a tory in sheep's clothing, now the party has swung to the other extreme, corbyn being a deluded communist and also a marxist, who will betray the working class in favour of the east german stasi doctrine that is being promoted by the EU, the controlling of the proles in subjugation to the unelected ministers for state security, or an uncontested power, the workers union stabbed the working class in the back years ago, corbyn, cameron, and others, will offer nothing to the table but deceit, with free market capitalism, and east german STASI style rule for all. the biggest worry is that they could enforce laws too jail you, for saying the wrong things, that upset there left wing dreams,
