It was in large part sold on immigration and if it hadn't been, if it had been sold on "control of law and trade", the vote wouldn't have swung that way.
I'm sure not everyone voted based on that, but a large enough proportion to account for far more than the small %age swing, certainly. But then, you know that, this is is another example of you pretending to be ignorant when the obvious doesn't suit the point that you're trying to make.
