Default Fans give Big Bruv the boot

Quote:
VIEWING figures for Big Brother’s Friday night eviction show have slipped to just 3.7million.

About five million viewers normally tune into the eviction show on a Friday night.

But the Channel 4 reality show slipped as newcomers David and lap dancer Shanessa got the boot last week.

TV insiders said the low ratings were down to the good weather.

But another source said: “This is not good. Big Brother got what it gets on a normal week night.

“Charley’s eviction pulled in five million, but in years gone by, eviction shows have got at least 5.5million.”

A simple Vote to Save change this year and this might have been a completely different story.

Except the Charley's intervirws (fake and real), none of the interviews or the evictees were brilliant, I mean it wasn't so explosive as last year or in BB5.

If viewers keep on getting rid of Entertaining caracters, than why complain now, Shabs, Billi and sauny were evicted unfairly.

Last years figures were really high, also in 2004, this year and 2005 have been really poor.

I know that's only because last year and in 2004 the interviews were explosive and amazing to watch. This year, or they cry, or they shout, or they are moaning. Not great isn"t it ?

I'm here since february 2006, I don't moan or complain, I say what I think, that's different. The interviews except the Charley's ones didn't entertain me, end of.

I think they have a contract until BB11 or something, so it will most likely continue until then. I don't think it needs to be axed, but some heads need to roll because the producers have made such a mess of this series.

I dont watch it that much. I dont like it. Thats an opinion and trust me when I say im looking foward to bitching about it more and more. Does that obliterate my right to be here?

Tell me please. The opinion of someone who does not respect the opinions of others REALLY matters to me.

They made Rebecca De Young executive producer. Thats the problem.

She has no concept of what the fans actually want to watch.

Channel4 has a contract with Endemol until BB1, they won't axe it for sure. But next year we will se a lot of changes in the format I think.

Completely agree. Maybe they've realised this and things will change next time round.

It should always be every HM up for eviction every week with a vote to evict, no nominations - that way the only say in the matter is the GBP.

It's a house, so voting to evict is more appropriate except for the final. However it would probably bring more votes and viewers. Oh and ridding of nominations and just evicting 1 from the lot might help too as if rubbish people are up for eviction then no ones going to watch. I never miss evictions usually, but I deliberatley did miss this one. I watched the highlights and their reaction to the announcement and then went on my PC for a game of counterstrike.

I hate this series but i am drawn to it as a BB fan, We have no control over evictions as BB are in control of what the viewing public see or don't see. Ergo the public are voting to evict who BB want evicted. Vote to win or save would be much better.

The frustrating thing is that it had the potential to be a vintage year but the producers have really screwed it up. Vot to save is a must for next year and, I don't know about you, but I have always found the tasks to be the most boring thing about BB. Fewer stupid tasks next year please.

Nothing will beat BB5, but it's always interesting (apart from BB4) once you find peopel to like

I t took me 6 weeks to decide who I liked!
