Would you like to watch 7 hours of Ricky giving people massages every week or what?
Big Brother is a cycle, you get people hogging screen time whether they're good or bad, they eventually leave and someone else then steps up and takes that persons place. Or like we saw with Marco, he left and nearly every single one of them started being themselves and shared the screen time between them and we ended up with a great series. I never get why people still assume a series will die if 1 housemate leaves because that rarely ever happens.

this *nods*

and as for all this bull about 'tv gold'... if he's gold then we've just devalued our currency so badly we may as well use chocolate buttons instead

Good point but thus far I've seen nothing from Ricky to suggest he has anything entertaining to offer... proper BETA male.

Maybe he'll liven up once Bear, Lewis and Heavy D are gone

i haven't made that assumption - that's what you've decided to take from my post. i'm hardly a naif and understand how tv works and how different people enjoy different things. my pointing out the things i prefer to see in BB is simply that, no agenda.

it's also a reach on your part to infer i'm implying others haven't been through as much as i have - a simple statement saying because of my own experiences i prefer to watch BB because of a/b/c is not the equivalent of what you are trying to make of it.

so now i'm foolish? get over yerself, numpty lad

at my age and things i've been through in life, watching faked tv drama by the likes of these dicks isn't entertaining to me
The implication being that it's only entertaining to "shallow" young people who "haven't been through what you've been through in life". Don't try to act like the original post wasn't loaded, ffs, at least have the balls to own your opinions if you still hold them, or openly retract them if you don't.

what's with the ridiculous aggression?

i stand completely by my opinion - i stated my reasons lucidly and without ambiguity as to why I don't like certain things. that is not a reflection on others - i'm sure there are plenty of older, shallow people who love all the crap too

because of what i've been through in life refers to having lived with a real life psychopath for 18 years - i've seen more drama in those years than some may see in a lifetime and why this kind of **** on BB is boring and,can be uncomfortable viewing BUT that's NOT saying that other people haven't seen more of dramatic life events than i have. seriously, you wanna sit down with a nice cup of tea - or maybe smoke a doobie if ricky's got one spare

i'd like to see ricky laugh in his face and let him know he means nothing, and walk away.

Hmm. So again, you've got more life experience than anyone who enjoys BB as it is now, because if they had that "real life experience", they would find the fake drama as boring as you do? I have no idea what your point is, if it isn't this.

Also if you think the previous post showed "ridiculous aggression" then I'm confused as to just how dramatic your life could possibly be
