I can't remember if the show has always been like it - I don't know if I'm romanticising the past of BB but I'm sure they used to blur out nudity? Or cut to other cameras whilst running the audio of an intimate scene.

There's something hyper-sexual about current reality TV that just doesn't interest me... and I don't think you have to be prudish, asexual or "old" to be put off by it. It's just...not entertaining. It doesn't enhance the show, it doesn't get people talking beyond "omg did u see marnie's tits", and it rarely even excites me in a shallow way

I have this vague memory of a lady shaving herself down under that was shown in intimate detail, way back when ... unless i am going completely mad

However, that, as far as I'm concerned was real, all the recent attempts are just contrived for the camera, and thats where it loses it for me. I'm just not interested in watching someone act up for the camera.

Now I set my mind to it, didn't they used to produce a naughty bits cd of some of the early series

If it's the same incident I'm thinking of, it was Melanie in BB1 plucking (!) her pubes with eyebrow tweezers!

That was pretty revolting and, like the current batch of "performers", she was clearly doing it for camera time.

Like many other posters here, I get annoyed (and bored) with the time devoted to showing us every angle of this very unattractive snogging, magnifying every squelching slurp.

If they will insist on showing this, they might at least dip the sound a bit - it's almost as bad as showing us the bits when the HMs are eating loudly, speaking with their mouths full and scraping their cutlery against the sides of their bowls!

Aaggghh! Said it before; hate it when they don't close their mouths when they chew!! Bear, Heavy and Chloe never do/did. It grosses me out
